I am curious if anyone has any suggestions for keeping track of the online casinos you play at. How do you keep track of the offers made? How do you keep track of your spending? Thanks in advance for any ideas offered.

There are a variety of ways one can keep track of the online casinos. You can view your transaction history. You can use an excel spreadsheet if you are into using those.

One can use a journal or notebook to keep track of spending. There are a number of ways to keep track of them.

I keep my limit to maybe two casinos that I play at during a given time. This helps me to keep track of a small number without difficulties.

I keep my minimum to a few online casinos so it is easier for me to keep track of them.

I have to keep track of all the things I do, otherwise I just get everything mixed up. So I have notes of all of it, either real ones or on my phone. Even though I love the benefits of technology, I find it easier to just write it down on paper. Maybe because I like scribbling.

It is very important to track and log all your gambling if you plan to report income/losses to the IRS. They want receipts, tickets, logs and anything else you can come up with. If you win, you will get a W-2G from the casino but if you lose, that is a little more difficult to prove. You need to keep a good log of how much you win and lose to be able to claim losses on your 1040.

I was reading on the IRS site yesterday and BigMaMa is right! They want your first born child, etc. just to claim any losses. Be sure to keep a really good log of winnings and losses so that you can claim them on your taxes. My question would be “What if you win on a casino out of the country?”. Do you still have to report that win?

Google keeps track of my life for me. I have a sheets page with all my wins and losses and also save copies of the docs Bigmama mentions. I even take screenshots when I play online.

When it comes to just keeping track of online sites, I have a password manager that saves all the sites I’ve created accounts.

I’m like you, Bobby. Google takes care of organizing my life, which is great because I’m terrible at it. I do have a notebook as well where I try to keep track of everything because I’ve just always been the type of person who loves to write anything and everything down. I hadn’t thought about taking screenshots before but that’s a great idea!
