There is etiquette at the Blackjack table that should be learned quickly and practiced like any other set of good manners. The first rule is no matter how poorly a casino player plays, you should keep the comments to yourself. If they are costing you money, leave the blackjack table but do not berate the play of the player. You maybe absolutely right, but it is not a class thing to do.

You are allowed to ask the dealer for help or to get an answer to questions. Getting help from a fellow player or playing a hand together is not allowed. You must hold your cards with one hand and not two. If you are playing more than one hand, you must finish that first one first before going to the next one. You only have so much space at a table and you should not act like you are home on your couch. Watch your drink at the table; you will be very embarrassed if you knock it over.

At a full table with an open seat, ask if the seat is spoken for or taken. Sometimes a wife had to go to the powder room before playing. Play as quickly as you can and do not agonize over your decisions. Slow play is not tolerated very well at a blackjack table. The game is designed for play at a fairly quick clip.

If you are going to make a special bet like a pair split or double down bet, you should announce your intentions to the dealer. She will appreciate it and efficiently handle the new bet. If you are playing a bet for the dealer let the dealer know that is what you are doing. Good communication with the dealer helps the game and the speed of the play. It also eliminates misunderstandings between the dealer and the player just by the simple method of talking.

Anger at a blackjack table should be controlled. When you lose you lose, it is called gambling and just because you expect to win does not mean you will win.
Losing is the other side of winning at the blackjack table. If you cannot keep it in perspective you should not play and become irrational. No player has the right to ruin other players gaming adventure.
