How to Play Casino War

One of the first card games that many people learn how to play is War because it is very simple.  Yet, there is also Casino War, which is just as simple to play.  The main difference to War and Casino War is that in Casino War the goal is to win real money and not to obtain more cards.

The first bet in Casino War is called the Ante, as the player can bet as much as they want on the hand depending on the table limits.  You can also make the Tie bet, where you will be betting that there will be a tie between you and the dealer.  You can also bet on your card and make a Tie bet as a side bet.

In Casino War, the Ace is the highest card, which is then followed by the King, Queen, and Jack.  Ten down to two are their face value; therefore two is the lowest card you can get in Casino War.  The suits of the card do not matter, so the Jack of hearts is exactly the same as the Jack of Clubs.

After you have made your bet both you and the dealer will, each be dealt one card.  If your card is higher than the dealer’s card then you win, an even money pay out.  In a Tie bet, either as your main bet or side bet, if your card and the dealer’s card are the same you win a 10 to 1 payout.  It is as easy as that.

If you and the dealer have the same card, you have the choice to either surrender or raise the bet.  If you surrender, you will lose half of your bet.  If you raise, also called going to war, a Raise bet is the same amount as your original Ante bet.  The dealer will then discard three cards, called burning cards, and then both you and the dealer will get one more card.  Just like the original card if you have the higher card than the dealer you win your original Ante bet and the Raise bet is a tie, called a push, where you get the bet back not losing it or winning even money on it.

If you go to war and then you and the dealer tie again on your second cards you will win the Ante bonus.  The Ante bonus is a 2 to 1 payout on your Ante bet.  Your Raise bet is also a push again.
