The two and the twelve pay 30 to 1 when bet and hit on a craps table. The odds that the house pays are way off and it is a seriously bad bet most of the time. But there is a method of taking some of the odds away from the house and putting them more in your favor.
You cannot bet these numbers very often and you should only bet a small amount when you do. The secret is they seem to come in pairs or even trips or more. Splitting a bet between the eleven and the twelve, hitting it and then pressing the bet can pay out a lot of money for very little risk. This author has made this bet more than once in a live casino and seen it hit four times in a row and I started with a 25-dollar chip. Each time it hit I doubled the bet. The payoff one time was over $3700 dollars, and my starting bet was $25. I can make this same bet many more times and still be way ahead of the game.
The factors needed to set up this play are the absence of the eleven or twelve for a series of rolls. I like to do it when I am the shooter and start on the come out roll. If I miss, I may not make the bet again that gaming session or even the next day. In my case I use my feelings and a strong hunch to tell me when to do it.
Someone else may never have this work for them, but in my case my psychic energy must work over time and let me know when to make this bet. I have hit several two timers and three four timers. The look on the pit bosses face when you do this and then tell them to cash you out is priceless. One time with the bet up to $200 dollars the first dice settled on a six and the other spun for a long time before coming down a four. There was a real look of relief on the pit bosses face when the four showed.
I would never suggest this is a solid bet or should be done all of the time, but I do suggest if you try it and hit, you should press the bet for the next roll. You may never know that lady luck is just a roll away. If you get two twelves in a row, the payoff is 30 to 1 each time. That is a significant amount of money on a $25 bet.
