Largest Loss
What is the biggest loss anyone here has had to deal with? Mine was only a few hundred back when I was in my mid 20's. I thought it would be great to hit up a real Indian casino out in AZ, making so little at the time it felt like the largest loss of my life.

I lost $10,000 once. Boy, that sounds like a lot of money, doesn't it? That's the bad news. Considering it was out of a $17,000 win from the week before doesn't make it seem so bad. It also wasn't in a casino, but it was still a gambling kind of thing, so I guess it counts.

I have never been one of those types of people to bet everything, or not know when to quit playing. The most I have ever lost was about two fifty, and I too was very unhappy about it. You can't always win, though.

I have bet everything before but it was not nearly the size pot that checkers here had. I wish I could swing that but my luck seems to have its limits.

The largest loss I've had yet was just over a grand. I went to Mississippi once with about $3,000, hoping to come back with about $5,000 or maybe even $6,000, but instead I came back with just under $2,000. :`( It's okay though. I've had some pretty big wins since then, and more than doubled my money several times, so as long as I'm winning in the long run, I'm okay with some losses here and there.

The biggest loss I had through gambling is only $1,000. I don't gamble more than $500 but I was trying to win back my losses that time and that is how I lost $1,000. I guess this is small compare to others who have lost thousands.

I'm a low-limit gambler myself, so I've never lost more than $1,000 dollars in a night, because that's all I go in with. I don't really consider it a loss if I go in with $1,000, win up to $10,000 dollars, and then walk away at the end of the night with $1,000 dollars. I still walked away with the amount I started with, so in my opinion, that's not a real loss.

I never gamble more than what I can afford to lose so it's quite low. My usual bankroll is $500 on the average and I wouldn't even bet that entire amount. I just bring that amount in case of emergency since you will never know what might happen but the largest amount I lost in one night is about $400 and I wasn't able to sleep for a month lol. Seriously, it doesn't affect me at all even if I lose all my gambling money because I already conditioned myself to accept that eventuality. My bankroll is money that I have allotted solely for gambling and is what I can afford to let go. Again, we all gamble to have fun and have a good time and we must enjoy ourselves every time we gamble win or lose.

I lost a few hundreds now and then but considering I won most of the time I'm not bothered much by this. A few hundred bucks compared to the amounts I have won is basically nothing.
